Working with the item search – Sorting, filtering, grouping, and creating favorites

1. Using the item search effectively

The item search offers powerful functions to help you quickly find the items you are looking for:

• Sorting
  You can sort the item list by various criteria such as item number, description, price, or stock level. Simply click on the header of the corresponding column.
  Note: Sorting is only available in the “Table” view.
• Filtering
  Use the filter function to narrow down items by specific attributes. Click on the filter icon and select your desired criteria (e.g. manufacturer, scale, price range).
  
• Grouping
  With the grouping function, you can group items by scale, manufacturer, or other criteria. Select the desired attribute from the list.
  

2. Saving item searches as favorites

If you frequently use a specific search, you can save it as a favorite:

1. Apply your desired filters, sorting, or grouping.
2. Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the item search area.
3. Select the option “Save as favorite”.
   
4. Assign a meaningful name to your favorite search.

Tip: You can access your frequently used searches at any time with just one click.

The results are automatically updated each time you run the search, so any newly added items that match your criteria will also be displayed.

3. Where can I find my saved favorites?

Your saved favorites are available in three convenient places:

• Homepage:
  An overview of your favorites is displayed on your personal homepage.
  Example:
  
  (The top entries “Das Werk – All items, grouped by scale” and “Panzerstahl – All items” are predefined examples by us and cannot currently be deleted by you.)
  
  
• When reopening the item area:
  Your favorites appear at the top of the item search area for quick access.

• Via the folder icon as navigation filter:
  In the item search, you can use the folder icon to quickly switch between your saved favorites.

Additional information

• Favorites can be renamed or deleted at any time.
• Changes to filter or sorting criteria require you to save the favorite again in order to update it.
