How does the shopping cart system work in the B2B portal?

In our B2B portal, you can conveniently work with multiple shopping carts in parallel. This makes it easier to manage different orders or to separate available products from pre-orders.

Where can I find my shopping carts?

Click the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of the page to:

  • Create a new shopping cart
  • Switch between existing carts
  • Open and edit existing shopping carts

Can I rename my shopping carts?

Yes, you can rename your shopping carts – for example, to better assign them to projects, scales, manufacturers, or customers.

You can also enter your own order number or reference. This will be automatically applied to all related documents.

Additionally, it is possible to specify an earliest shipping date.

Important: Selecting a delivery date in the cart does not guarantee delivery on that specific day.

How do I add products and quantities?

Products can be added directly via the product search, by entering an article number, or via import. Select the desired item and specify the quantity.

Within the cart, you can search specifically by manufacturer part number, EAN code, product name, or by manufacturer.

Added products can be adjusted in quantity or removed from the cart at any time.

Tip: Items in the shopping cart can be rearranged via drag & drop – e.g., to highlight priorities or create a clearer structure.

What should I know about shipping and payment methods?

Good to know: You no longer need to manually select shipping or payment methods in the shopping cart. Your company’s predefined standard payment terms are applied automatically. This simplifies and speeds up the ordering process.

How do I complete an order?

  1. Open the desired shopping cart via the shopping cart icon.
  2. Review your product list and quantities.
  3. Click “Place Order” below the total cost summary.
  4. Your order will be submitted using the saved conditions – no further selection of shipping or payment methods is required.

Can shopping carts be combined?

Combining different shopping carts is not possible. Each cart is processed as a separate order when completed. If you wish to finalize multiple carts, a separate order will be generated for each one.
