25 years of Modellbau-König – and we want to celebrate with you!
To mark our anniversary, we are holding a special scratch card promotion.
A total of approximately 18,000 prizes worth more than €200,000 will be given away. Statistically, approximately every second scratch card is a winner. However, since the scratch cards are distributed at random, an order containing several scratch cards may contain only winning cards or only non-winning cards.
As part of the promotion, you will receive one scratch card when placing an order with a gross order value of at least €25.00 in our online shop at modellbau-koenig.de. Orders placed with us through a marketplace are also eligible for the promotion; one scratch card will be included with each marketplace order. Scratch cards will be included with orders while stocks last.
The scratch cards offer a range of physical prizes and vouchers. Prizes may only be redeemed through our online shop at modellbau-koenig.de. Further details on prize redemption can be found below in the Terms and Conditions.
How many scratch cards will I receive?
For every full €25.00 in gross merchandise value in an order placed through our online shop, you will receive one scratch card, while supplies last.
The number of scratch cards you receive depends on the gross merchandise value of your order:
- Less than €25.00: no scratch card
- €25.00 or more: 1 scratch card
- €50.00 or more: 2 scratch cards
- €75.00 or more: 3 scratch cards
- €100.00 or more: 4 scratch cards
- And so on
Only complete €25 increments are taken into account. For example, if the gross merchandise value of your order is €49.99, you will receive one scratch card. From a gross merchandise value of €50.00, you will receive two scratch cards.
Shipping costs are not included when calculating the gross merchandise value.
Terms and Conditions for the “25 Years of MBK” Scratch Card Promotion
Translation notice: Translations of these Terms and Conditions are provided for convenience only. In the event of any ambiguity, discrepancy or conflict between a translation and the German version, the German version shall prevail. The German version is available here: German Terms and Conditions.
1. Prize Promotion
The organiser of the prize promotion is Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG, Nordenhamer Str. 177, 27751 Delmenhorst, Germany.
As part of the “25 Years of MBK” scratch card promotion, customers will receive one scratch card for every full €25.00 in gross merchandise value when placing an order through our online shop at modellbau-koenig.de. Accordingly, an order with a gross merchandise value of €50.00 will include two scratch cards, an order with a gross merchandise value of €75.00 will include three scratch cards, and so on. Shipping costs are not included when calculating the gross merchandise value.
Orders placed with us through a marketplace are also eligible for the promotion; a maximum of one scratch card will be included with each marketplace order. Scratch cards will be included with orders while stocks last.
The dispatch date of the order, rather than the order date, is decisive for the inclusion of a scratch card. There is no legal entitlement to receive a scratch card. The promotion ends at the end of 30 September 2026 or earlier if all scratch cards have been distributed.
2. Eligibility and Exclusion
- Participation in the prize promotion is free of charge.
- Persons aged 18 or over are eligible to participate.
- Participation through prize competition clubs or other commercial service providers is not permitted.
- Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to exclude participants from the prize promotion if they violate these Terms and Conditions.
3. Promotion Procedure and Notification of Winners
- By participating, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions.
- Each scratch card contains a scratch-off panel. After scratching off the panel, the participant will immediately find out whether they have won and, if so, which prize they have won.
- Approximately every second scratch card is a winner. Scratch cards are distributed at random, so there is no guarantee that a participant receiving several scratch cards will receive at least one winning card.
- Only one prize voucher may be redeemed per purchase.
- Prizes cannot be paid out in cash.
- Prizes cannot be applied to orders that have already been completed.

5. Prize Redemption
Prizes may only be redeemed through our online shop at modellbau-koenig.de. Prizes cannot be redeemed by any other means, particularly by telephone, email or support ticket.
For physical prizes, the relevant item must already be in the shopping cart before the voucher code can be entered. The prize can then be redeemed in the shopping cart or during the checkout process.
Only one prize voucher may be redeemed per purchase. It is not possible to combine several prize vouchers in a single order.
A prize cannot be applied retrospectively to orders that have already been completed or submitted. Cash payments and the payment of any remaining voucher balance are not permitted.
Exception: „Severin Wurster“ Physical Prize
Notwithstanding the redemption conditions set out above, the „Severin Wurster“ physical prize must be redeemed by email.
If you have won a Severin Wurster, please email us a photo of your winning scratch card together with the corresponding invoice at socialmedia@modellbau-koenig.de.
6. Expiry of Prize Claims
Prize vouchers are valid until 00:00 on 1 January 2027. Once the validity period has expired, the entitlement to the prize will lapse.
If a physical prize is not redeemed in time or cannot be redeemed for reasons attributable to the winner, the entitlement to the prize will lapse.
Entitlement to a physical prize exists only while the relevant prize product remains available. If the product is no longer available at the time of redemption, the entitlement to the prize will lapse.
7. Costs Incurred
Any taxes, fees or consequential costs that may arise as a result of the prize must be borne by the winner.
8. Data Protection
No personal data is collected as part of the prize promotion itself. Personal data is only processed when an order is completed in the online shop. The online shop’s data protection provisions apply. Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy at modellbau-koenig.de/en/datenschutz.
9. Early Termination and Changes to the Terms and Conditions
- Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, provided that there is an objective reason for doing so.
- Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG also reserves the right to terminate or suspend the prize promotion, in whole or in part, if there is a compelling reason to do so.
- False or incorrect information may result in exclusion from the prize promotion.
10. No Cash Payment and Legal Recourse
Prizes cannot be paid out in cash. Legal recourse is excluded; rights arising from the Privacy Policy remain unaffected.
