To round off the year, we’ve come up with something very special for you:

We’re looking for the oldest invoice from Modellbau-König!

Perhaps you still have an old MBK invoice tucked away in a folder, a drawer or among long-forgotten model-building documents. If so, taking a look now could be doubly worthwhile.

Simply send us a photo or scan of your old MBK invoice or corresponding proof of purchase by email to foto@modellbau-koenig.de.

Because whoever submits the oldest valid MBK invoice or corresponding proof of purchase will win our big annual grand prize – a special weekend at and with Modellbau-König.

And even if your submission isn’t the oldest, it’s still worth taking part: We will be giving away additional attractive prizes among all valid entries.

Which Invoice Counts as the Oldest?

The oldest MBK invoice is the valid invoice from Modellbau-König with the earliest invoice date shown on the invoice.

Invoices from our online shop at modellbau-koenig.de will be considered, as will invoices or corresponding proofs of purchase from orders placed through our former eBay accounts „modellbau-koenig“ and „karton-koenig“.

The sole determining factor is the invoice date clearly visible on the submitted invoice or proof of purchase. The purchase date, payment date, delivery date or time of submission are not relevant when determining the oldest invoice.

The invoice or proof of purchase must be clearly attributable to Modellbau-König or one of the former eBay accounts mentioned above. The invoice date must be clearly legible on the submitted photo or scan.
Only photos or scans of paper invoices are eligible. Emails and screenshots of websites will not be accepted.

Altered, manipulated or subsequently falsified invoices and proofs of purchase will not be considered.

If several participants submit valid invoices or proofs of purchase with the same oldest invoice date, the annual grand prize will be drawn among those participants.

Entry Period and Winner Selection

The prize draw runs from 01.10.2026 up to and including 31.12.2026.

Entries received by us within this period and which meet the Terms and Conditions of Participation will be considered.

The winners will be determined in January 2027. The annual grand prize will be awarded in accordance with the rules regarding the oldest MBK invoice described above.

The additional prizes will be drawn among all valid entries.

The winners will be notified of their prize by email and must respond to the prize notification no later than 31.01.2027.

If no response is received by this date, Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to award the respective prize elsewhere.

Participation and Exclusion

1. Participation in the prize draw is free of charge.
2. Natural persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation are eligible to participate.
3. Each person may participate only once. Multiple entries are not permitted. If multiple entries are received from the same person, only the first valid entry will be considered.
4. Participation via prize draw clubs, automated prize draw services or other commercial service providers is excluded.
5. Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to exclude participants from the prize draw in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
6. Exclusion may take place in particular where there is reasonable suspicion that an entry has been manipulated, an invoice or proof of purchase has been falsified or misrepresented, or deliberately false or misleading information has been provided in connection with participation.
7. Persons who attempt to gain an advantage over other participants through technical, organisational or other impermissible measures, or who attempt to interfere with the proper conduct of the prize draw, may also be excluded.
8. If grounds for exclusion only become apparent after the winners have been determined, Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to revoke the prize and, where applicable, reclaim prizes that have already been handed over or awarded.

Prize Fulfilment

The annual grand prize includes only the benefits expressly specified in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.

The costs of travel to and from the event are not included in the prize and must be borne by the winner.

Cash payment of the prize is excluded.

Grand Prize Event and Photo and Video Recordings

As part of the event associated with the annual grand prize, the winner has the option to voluntarily participate in photo and video recordings as well as an unboxing video.

Participation in photo or video recordings, and in particular in the unboxing video, is voluntary. Refusal will have no effect whatsoever on the prize or participation in the grand prize event.

If the winner agrees to being recorded and to the publication of the recordings, a separate declaration of consent will be provided on site. Corresponding photo and video recordings may only be made and used for the purposes specified therein after express consent has been given.

In particular, the consent may cover the publication of the following content:

• the winner’s first name
• photographs
• film and video recordings
• audio recordings, insofar as these form part of the video recordings

Publication may take place in connection with the prize draw and the grand prize event, in particular on Modellbau-König’s websites and social media channels, as well as in connection with reporting on and promoting the prize draw.

By providing the corresponding separate consent, the winner grants Modellbaukönig GmbH & Co. KG the necessary non-exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, make publicly accessible and edit, while respecting personality rights, the photo and video recordings made during the grand prize event and covered by the consent for the purposes stated above.

Service providers commissioned by us may be used for the technical implementation of publication.

Consent to the processing and publication of the corresponding personal data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

Withdrawal or refusal of consent has no effect on the prize or participation in the grand prize event.

Data Protection

For participation in the prize draw, we process exclusively the personal data submitted as part of the entry by email. This includes, in particular, the email address and the information contained in the submitted photo or scan of the invoice or proof of purchase.

This data is processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting and administering the prize draw. This includes, in particular, verifying eligibility to participate, reviewing and evaluating the submitted documents, determining the winners, contacting them and administering the prizes.

The data collected as part of the prize draw will not be used for any other purposes. In particular, it will not be used for advertising or marketing purposes, newsletters, the creation of customer profiles or any other purposes unrelated to conducting this prize draw.

The legal basis for processing the personal data required for participation in and administration of the prize draw is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Where processing is necessary to ensure the proper and fair conduct of the prize draw or to prevent multiple entries, misuse or attempted manipulation, such processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the proper, fair and secure conduct of the prize draw and compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Participation.

Personal data collected exclusively in connection with participation in the prize draw will be stored only for as long as necessary to conduct and fully administer the prize draw. This data will subsequently be deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds prevent its deletion.

We recommend redacting any personal information on the submitted invoice or proof of purchase that is not required for participation before submitting it. The invoice date and the information required for verification and attribution must remain visible.

Photo, video or audio recordings connected with the grand prize event are not processed automatically as a result of participation in the prize draw, but only on the basis of separate, voluntary consent.

Legal Recourse

Legal recourse regarding the conduct of the prize draw and the determination of the winners is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
